Afp-RelaxnewsPARIS, Sept 23 ― This winter, the Parisian tourism board (OTCP) has a plan to attract foreign shoppers to the French capital's shops, with a number of special incentives and events. 

From December to February, the OTCP will unroll three campaigns to attract tourists to the City of Lights, and more specifically to its prestigious boutiques and department stores.

In December, an operation called Christmas Shopping will enable tourists to retrieve their Paris City Passport Shopping 2012 in designated spots. 

The passport will be limited to one specified user and will be valid for three days in a row, and will get the user 10 per cent discounts in around 70 participating shops. 

In January, Parisian shops will start their annual winter sales, providing another way for bargain-hunting shopaholics to get their fix. 

The fashion-oriented Shopping by Paris campaign will be back again in 2013, offering plenty of good deals, privileges, and services to shoppers looking to expand their wardrobe. And when Saint Valentine’s day comes around in February, the “Paris Romantique” campaign will have plenty of good deals for couples. Look for what the French call “offres duo”. ― Afp-Relaxnews
